Throughout these Terms of Service, “TepLep”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MB Teplep. “Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to any person using this website or purchasing our products.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform used to offer and sell our products.

2. APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service govern your use of teplep.com and purchases made through our online store.

By accessing the website, submitting an order or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any other policies referenced on the website.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Lithuanian or European Union law.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND LAWFUL USE

You must have legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement or act with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use the website or our products for unlawful purposes, infringe the rights of other persons, introduce malicious code, interfere with the operation or security of the website, or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to our systems.

We may restrict access to the website or refuse an order where reasonably necessary due to suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security concerns, product unavailability or another legitimate reason permitted by law.

4. PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS

TepLep sells decorative wall prints and related products, including prints on canvas and aluminium composite panels, products with varnished details, framed products and personalised products made from customer-provided photographs or other content.

The material, size, finish, framing, mounting method and other characteristics of each product are described on the applicable product page.

Canvas products are stretched over a wooden frame. Aluminium products are printed on 3 mm aluminium composite panels. Some products may include selectively applied varnish, decorative finishes or additional framing.

Product dimensions are stated in centimetres unless specified otherwise.

5. PRODUCT IMAGES, COLOURS AND VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS

We make reasonable efforts to present product colours, proportions, finishes and materials accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on the screen, device settings, lighting conditions, print material and production process.

Product mockups and interior visualisations are intended to demonstrate approximate scale, appearance and placement. They might not represent the exact dimensions of a product in relation to the room unless expressly stated.

Metallic-looking colours displayed on a screen do not themselves produce a metallic effect. Reflective or glossy effects depend on the selected material and whether varnish or another finish is included in the product specification.

Minor differences in colour, crop, positioning, texture or finish that result from normal production processes do not constitute a defect, provided that the product remains consistent with the agreed specification and applicable legal requirements.

6. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DIGITAL CONTENT

Some artwork designs, product descriptions, mockups, hero images, lifestyle scenes or other visual and written content displayed on our website may be created, modified or enhanced using artificial intelligence tools.

AI-generated lifestyle visuals may depict fictional people, animals, interiors or situations. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such visuals do not show actual TepLep customers, real customer photographs, actual completed installations or documentary records of our production process.

AI-assisted product descriptions and other written content are reviewed or edited by TepLep before publication. The product specifications displayed on the applicable product page, including the selected material, size, finish and frame, determine what is included in the order.

The use of artificial intelligence tools does not reduce your statutory rights regarding accurate product information, conformity of goods or remedies for defective products.

7. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMER-PROVIDED CONTENT

A personalised product is a product created according to the customer’s individual specifications, including products made from a customer photograph, custom artwork, individual text, non-standard dimensions or another customer-approved design.

When submitting a photograph, image, text, logo or other material, you confirm that:

  • you own the material or have permission to use and reproduce it;

  • its use does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, image, personality or other rights;

  • where identifiable people are shown, you have the necessary permission to provide and use their images;

  • the material is not unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive or otherwise prohibited.

You retain ownership of your original content. You grant TepLep a limited right to process, edit and reproduce the submitted content only as reasonably necessary to prepare the visualisation, manufacture and deliver the ordered product, provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.

Customer-provided content may be processed using technical service providers, including AI-assisted editing or design tools, where required to fulfil the requested service. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may refuse content that appears unlawful, infringes third-party rights or cannot be produced to an acceptable technical standard.

Where we send a digital visualisation or proof for approval, the customer must carefully review the composition, spelling, crop, proportions and other visible details. Production may begin after the customer approves the visualisation and payment has been received.

Customer approval does not remove statutory rights where the manufactured product does not conform to the approved design or agreed specification.

8. ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION

Products placed in the shopping cart are not reserved.

By submitting an order, you offer to purchase the selected products at the displayed price and confirm that the order information is correct.

After an order is submitted, you will receive an electronic confirmation. A binding sales contract is formed when we accept the order and send confirmation, subject to payment authorisation and product availability.

For personalised orders arranged by email or another direct communication channel, the agreement is formed when the customer approves the proposed product, price and other essential conditions and makes the required payment.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order before production or dispatch where:

  • the product is unavailable;

  • payment was not successfully completed;

  • the order information is incomplete or clearly incorrect;

  • there is an obvious pricing or technical error;

  • we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity;

  • the requested personalised content cannot lawfully or technically be produced.

If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount received without undue delay, except where the law permits otherwise.

9. PRICES, VAT AND PAYMENT

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include the applicable value-added tax (VAT), unless expressly stated otherwise.

For sales in Lithuania, the applicable standard VAT rate is currently 21%. For cross-border sales, the applicable VAT treatment or rate may depend on the delivery destination and applicable tax rules.

MB Teplep VAT identification number: LT100018052912.

The total price, including applicable taxes and any delivery charges, is shown before the customer confirms the order.

Delivery within Lithuania is free unless expressly indicated otherwise during checkout or agreed separately for a specific order.

Additional delivery charges may apply to international, oversized or specially handled shipments. Any applicable charge will be shown at checkout or agreed with the customer before the order is confirmed.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered during checkout or by bank transfer where separately agreed.

Production begins only after the required payment has been received and, for personalised products, after the final visualisation has been approved.

We may change product prices at any time, but a price change does not affect an order that has already been accepted, except where permitted by law in the case of an obvious error.

10. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

The usual production time is 4–5 business days after receipt of payment and, where applicable, approval of the final visualisation.

Estimated delivery times after production are:

  • Lithuania: usually 1–2 business days;

  • other European Union destinations: up to 14 days, depending on the destination, parcel size and carrier.

These periods are estimates unless a specific delivery deadline has been expressly agreed.

Delivery may take longer due to unusually high order volumes, customer-requested changes, carrier delays, customs procedures, force majeure or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will inform the customer of a material delay where reasonably possible.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect address, repeated delivery attempts or failure to collect a parcel may be charged where permitted by law.

The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to a consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

The customer should inspect the external condition of the parcel upon delivery. Visible transport damage should be photographed and reported to us as soon as reasonably possible. Failure to report visible damage immediately does not remove mandatory consumer rights.

11. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

If you want to change or cancel an order, contact us at info@teplep.com as soon as possible.

We will try to accommodate the request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after production has started, materials have been prepared, a personalised visualisation has been approved or the product has been dispatched.

Any additional costs resulting from a customer-requested change must be approved before the change is carried out.

These provisions do not limit any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to the order.

12. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase of a standard, non-personalised product within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law.

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This may include products made from customer photographs, products with individual text or artwork, non-standard custom dimensions and other products created specifically according to an approved customer request.

A product is not treated as personalised merely because it is produced after the order if the customer selected only standard catalogue options and the product was not made to individual specifications.

The withdrawal exception for personalised products does not affect the customer’s rights where a product is defective, damaged or does not conform to the approved design or agreed specification.

Instructions for exercising the right of withdrawal, return conditions and the return address are provided in our Refund Policy:

https://teplep.com/policies/refund-policy

Unless otherwise stated in the Refund Policy or required by law, the customer bears the direct cost of returning a non-defective product under the right of withdrawal. TepLep bears the reasonable return cost where the product is defective or non-conforming and the law requires us to do so.

13. DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS

Consumers are entitled to the legal remedies provided by Lithuanian and European Union consumer protection law.

Goods purchased by consumers are covered by a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery. This legal guarantee is not a separate commercial warranty and cannot be excluded or reduced by these Terms.

If a product is defective, damaged or does not conform to the order, contact us at info@teplep.com and provide:

  • the order number;

  • a description of the issue;

  • photographs showing the product, packaging and relevant damage or defect.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction, termination of the contract or a refund.

Normal characteristics of the selected print material, minor colour differences caused by screen display or production technology, and differences expressly disclosed before purchase are not defects unless the product does not meet the agreed specification or reasonable quality requirements.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the website, TepLep branding, product photographs, artwork, graphics, text, layout and other website content are owned by or lawfully licensed to MB Teplep.

You may use the website for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Purchasing a physical print does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork. The customer may display the purchased product for personal purposes but may not reproduce or commercially distribute the artwork unless separately authorised.

Nothing in this section transfers ownership of customer-provided original content to TepLep.

15. ACCOUNTS AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate order, payment and contact information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account, except where caused by our failure to maintain appropriate security.

We may contact you using the information provided with the order where necessary to process payment, clarify an order, approve a personalised design, arrange delivery or provide customer support.

16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, delivery companies, translation services, analytics tools and social media platforms.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control, except to the extent that responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

The use of third-party service providers does not remove our obligations to customers under applicable consumer protection law.

17. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND ACCURACY

We aim to keep the website available and information accurate, but temporary interruptions, maintenance, technical errors or outdated information may occur.

We may correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information or obvious pricing errors. Where such an error affects an order, we will contact the customer and act in accordance with applicable law.

We may update, suspend or discontinue website features or products, provided that this does not unlawfully affect existing customer contracts.

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life or health, defective products, infringement of mandatory consumer rights or failure to supply goods in conformity with the contract.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

For customers acting in the course of business, our liability may be limited to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.

19. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data submitted through the website or in connection with an order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy:

https://teplep.com/policies/privacy-policy

The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, which service providers may receive it, how long it is retained and what rights data subjects have.

20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, business processes, technology or applicable law.

The current version and its update date will be published on this page. Changes apply to future use of the website and future orders.

The Terms applicable when an order was placed continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with the customer.

21. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and sales contracts with MB Teplep are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

If you are a consumer residing in another European Union or European Economic Area country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with applicable law. Consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before any court having jurisdiction under mandatory consumer law.

22. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a complaint concerning a product or order, please contact us first:

Email: info@teplep.com
Phone: +370 632 89999

Please describe the issue and provide the order number and relevant evidence. We will examine the complaint and provide a reasoned response within the period required by applicable law.

If a consumer is not satisfied with our response, the consumer may apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, VVTAT) or use the Lithuanian Consumer Rights Information System (VTIS):

https://vvtat.lrv.lt
https://vtis.lt

This section does not restrict the consumer’s right to apply to a competent court.

23. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The invalid provision will be applied or replaced only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law.

24. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the order confirmation, applicable product information, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any individually agreed conditions, form the agreement between the customer and MB Teplep regarding the purchase.

If an individually agreed written condition conflicts with these Terms, the individually agreed condition prevails for that order, provided that it does not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
